Måna Care AB (“Måna Care” or “we” or “us” or “our”) provides this privacy policy to our users, customers and potential users and customers (“user” or “you”) to explain how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the “Digital Care Assistant Services” provided by Måna Care in conjunction with an “Digital Care Assistant Solution” that may include a device, a cloud service, and an application or website to manage the device. Digital Care Assistant Services may include one or more of the following: 1) the ability to connect to cellular data services, 2) Digital IoT MQTT Cloud Services, 3) the ability to provision and deprovision cellular services for devices, 4) the billing and management of subscription services using credit cards (or similar electronic payment services) or invoices, 5) the ability to notify you with relevant information related to your subscription, 6) the ability to track data and report on the number of connected devices and their data usage, and 7) any additional features and functionality that we may, at our discretion, offer from time to time. These services are provided by and hosted by Måna Care or its 3rd party partners on its servers or a third party’s servers, as selected by Måna Care, and may include cellular carrier services managed and/or provided by Måna Care and its 3rd party partners. Your right to use the Digital Care Assistant Services is subject to these privacy policies and the Måna Care End User License Agreements (“MCEULA”) posted at https://manacare.se/en/support/documents/ covering your use of a Digital Care Assistant Solution. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not use the Digital Care Assistant Solution that relies on Digital Care Assistant Services.

Please periodically review this privacy policy to stay informed of modifications, changes or updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised privacy policy by your continued use of products that rely on Digital Care Assistant Services after the date such revised privacy policy is posted.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date of this privacy policy. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated privacy policy at the Legal Notice, and you waive the right to receive specific notice of each such change or modification.

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways when you use a Digital Care Assistant Solution that relies on our Digital Care Assistant Services. The information we collect may include:

Personal Data

Måna Care may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, telephone numbers, shipping address, billing address, product location, images, and other content related to the Digital Care Assistant Solution, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with us or when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Digital Care Assistant Solution, such as starting a Måna Care AB Services Privacy Policy subscription service with us. You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind, however your refusal to do so may prevent you from using all and certain features of your Digital Care Assistant Solution.

Måna Care will use your personally identifying information only to provide the services related to the Digital Care Assistant Services.

Derivative Data

Our services and servers may automatically collect information when you use the Digital Care Assistant Solution, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing our IoT Services.

Financial Data

If purchasing subscription services or other items through the Digital Care assistant Service, we will collect financial information related to your payment method (such as name, valid credit card number, card brand, and expiration date). We store very limited, if any, financial information that we collect but instead rely on PCI compliant payment processors (such as Ultracart, Stripe, Paypal, or others that we may use in the future) to store this information and retrieve it when necessary to simplify your transactions. You are encouraged to review their respective privacy policies and contact them directly for responses if you have questions. Device Data We may collect device information, such as your device ID, model, and manufacturer, and information about the location of your device, in order to provide device and carrier provisioning services.

Log information

The infrastructure used by the Digital Care Assistant Solution may log all communication and activities of the Digital Care Assistant Solution. We may use these log files to gather statistics about the Digital Care Assistant Solution and your use and connectivity habits, to assess overall activity, including how many messages and images are being sent and received through the system to and from the Digital Care Assistant Solution, the location of Digital Care Assistant Solution, and the IP address of the computers or cell phones used for managing the Digital Care Assistant Solution.

USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Information, including personally identifying information, which we collect, may be saved and may be used for other purposes to enhance your experience or for additional promotional opportunities, unless you choose to opt-out of one of those programs. Information obtained when you contact our consumer services department will be maintained by the consumer services department, so that we may use it to improve our ability to support you and other customers on current or future services we may develop.

We may also use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account, email you regarding your account or order, fulfill and manage purchases, orders, payments, and other transactions related to the Digital Care Assistant Solution, monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Digital Care Assistant Solution, and notify you of updates to the Digital Care Assistant Solution.
  • Compile and/or aggregate anonymous statistical data and analysis for use internally or with third parties.
    • Generate a profile about you to make your future interactions with the Digital Care Assistant Service more personalized.
  • Resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems, respond to product and customer service requests.
  • Assist law enforcement, respond to a legal process and respond subpoenas.
  • Prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.

IoT Solution Provider

We will disclose and share information with the company that provides your IoT Solution so that they can provide you with services, such as customer support, that they deem necessary for their business. Third Party Service Providers

We may disclose your information to certain third parties that we have engaged to assist us in providing our services, fulfilling your requests, and in maintaining our records and managing the operations of our business. Such third parties include, but are not limited to, cloud-service providers, fulfillment houses, credit card processing services, credit verification services, SMS text messaging services, and third-party server infrastructure providers. These parties are not authorized to share your information with other parties, except to the extent it is necessary to support your use of the Digital Care Assistant Services.

CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your activities monitored and collected. We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for tracking is adopted and we are legally obligated to follow such standard, or if we voluntarily decide to follow such standard, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy policy.

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California’s “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided above. The removal of such data may prevent your services from continuing to function. In addition, please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our systems.
