Light Square
- The Light Square is integrated as part of the Måna UI. It is a (Blue) LCD light that surrounds the entire Måna display. It provides lighting as a nightlight and is used to alert the customer by flashing different colors that change with incoming messages (Green), placing or receiving video calls (Green), or announcing an alert (Red), or used as a Nightlight (Blue).

Security
- The Måna Digital Assistant provides multiple levels of security that protects all data shared from the Måna platform across all communication networks using a combination of secure encryption and quantum encryption keys while integrating unique hardware encoded identifiers. The result, Måna data stored in our MQTT Cloud meets SOC 2 Type II security covering all five Trusted Data Services Criteria: Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy to comply with HIPPA data standards.
- Our Data between the Måna client is secured with our partner HiveMQ to the following standards. All communication to and from the devices is secured through advanced WiFi encoding as outlined in the Wireless & Cellular specification. The messages being sent to Hive MQ from the Clients and Advisory App are encoded to add another level of security that keeps all messages secure to only the family network of advisors.

In addition, due to Måna’s private family network configuration, the cellular connection is isolated from 3rd party connectivity and communication. This restricts and, in many cases, prevents unwanted access or solicitation to the Mana Client to ensure your loved one is safety and secure.
Battery, Charging, and Safety certifications:
Måna is a portable device designed to be used all between 6 to 8 hours on a single charge from a built-in battery. Måna uses lithium-Polymer battery technology to support this capability. Unless otherwise stated, all existing and future Måna models using lithium-ion batteries are designed to meet international safety certification standards. All Måna batteries are tested, certified, and in compliance with the standards listed below:
- FCC Part 15 Class B consumer devices for radiated emissions
- UN38.3: United Nations Transport Regulations for battery safety during air transport
- IEC62133: International Safety Standard for lithium Ion & Polymer battery packs
- CE compliance
Don’t attempt to replace the Måna battery yourself—you may damage the battery, which could cause overheating, fire, and injury. The lithium-ion battery in should be serviced or recycled by Måna Care AB or an authorized service provider and must be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste. Dispose of batteries according to your local environmental laws and guidelines.
Medical Device Interference:
Måna contains magnets as well as components and/or radios that may interfere with medical devices. While Måna is tested to the CE compliance standard, most medical device manufacturers recommend keeping a source of potential interference a safe distance away from your medical device (at least 6 inches / 15 cm apart or at least 12 inches / 30 cm apart.
CE / FCC Compliance:
Måna Care AB declares that all power supplies, battery packs, cellular modules and WiFi / Bluetooth modules used in Måna are in compliance to CE and FCC Radiated Emissions testing of part 15 for the following FCC Rules: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
However, at this time, the Måna platforms being delivered are Pilot Production units that are pending platform-level certification by CE and FCC, which is expected to be completed by June 2025.
Disposal and Recycling Information
The symbol above means that, according to local laws and regulations, your product and/or its battery shall be disposed of separately from household waste. When this product reaches the end of its life, take it to a collection point designated by local authorities.
